My Aunt T once told me she would never want to go back to her twenties again. Being 22 at the time with the ego still of a teenager, I thought maybe her 20-somethings were just not as fun as mine are bound to be. False! I realize now she was warning me of the decade of uncertainty that was in my near future. Sometimes I think it’s the uncertainty that makes it exciting. At other times I feel that everything I do is to serve some bigger picture that I can’t even begin to describe. Now that I’m reluctantly 26, the words my Aunt once uttered over a glass of Pinot seem laced with wisdom I took forgranted. My objective now is to embrace the chaos because sometimes uncertainty is all you have.
